After update of my windows 10 I got problem Desktop is unavailable

My PC is working really normal before update. After I update my windows 10 the system show this message.

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is unavailable. If the location is on this PC, make sure the device or drive is connected or the disc is inserted, and then try again. If the location is on a network, make sure you're connected to the network or internet, and then try again. If the location still can't be found, it might have been moved or deleted. - OK

Then I click ok after that I only see recycle bin and task bar, which can not do anything background is black, so I restart by using ctrl+alt+delete and run safe mode(safe mode with network). 

In safe mode it has no This PC it just has recycle bin and some program and I can't open any file location of any program after that I turn off my pc for 30 sec then open it the result is 

C:\WINDOWS\system32\config\systemprofile\Desktop is not accessible 

Access is denied. -OK

Only recycle bin and task bar and black background again.

I have no idea to fix this problem any more. Please I really need some help. THANK YOU. My English is not professional I hope you understand my message.

Hi Thirut,

Open Windows File Explorer

On the View Ribbon, check the box marked 'Hidden Items'

C:\users\Default\

Right click and copy the Desktop folder contained in the Default Folder

Navigate to: C:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile

Right click and Paste the Desktop folder into the systemprofile folder

Restart (not shut sown) your PC

    Seems you went with an upgrade install, which can leave the current user files in tact. That's one way to go, but the way I described earlier was basically reinstalling the newest Windows 10 patch, which in my case fixed my corrupt Windows with no change whatsoever to the Windows install.

    Whatever works though, glad you guys are fixed

    It took some time, but I got there in the end.

    1.  Open Task Manager......using CTRL ALT DELETE (you may need to do this a few times before it actually does open).

    1. Once open, you should be able to find your list of folders...….you will not be able to open individual documents but I was able to back the few files I did not already have backed up (on to an external hard drive) via this method.
    2. I then carried out a hard shut down......I had to do this a couple of times but I did manage to get it to open in the Recovery Environment.
    3. Go to 'Troubleshoot - Advanced Option' - revert to previous build, making sure you check 'keep own files'

    It took nearly 3 hours for the re-install but I have not lost any files.  There is a also the issue of re-installing, downloading any other software you originally had.  So I would suggest you make sure you have half a day to do this.

    Perhaps everyone who has had this problem should send Microsoft a bill for time, inconvenience etc etc

    Apologies if anyone else has already posted this solution.

    Thanks for responding.  I had several responses and your # 3 was the answer.  Worked beautifully.  Took about 2 hours for all the processes to work, but Windows 10 was reinstalled and all my content was there.  Just had to reinstall a couple of apps and was good to go.

    SOLVED IT!!!!

    ....side note: you might be able to keep your stuff if you choose the "keep personal files" option, not really sure because i haven't tried it....

    If a quicker and easier method is already on this page then I'm sorry for wasting your time with this "solution" please forgive me as i really didn't wanna look through 390 replies...
