I personally won't be staying, but my kids will appreciate the PIN.  As a system administrator and programmer with 40+ years of computer experience this requirement was enough to send me back over the edge.  I think it may be PTSD from supporting windows 95/98/se in the 90s :)

    Thanks

The Group Editor fix is OK for Windows Professional but what do I do about Windows Home?

The Group Policy change mentioned above does not work with Windows Professional.

Using a clean install of 1803, the nag returns even after you make that change.

Creating a pin and later removing it also doesn't work, the nag returns.

Unfortunately setting this group policy didn't fix the problem here. After a power cycle you're again asked.

Have just reinstalled 1709 and 1803, can confirm that the former let's you cancel setting up a pin and never asks again. The latter insists you set one up no matter what you do. (Including setting one then removing it)

1803 is full of bugs. It also prevents motherboards with nForce chipsets from waking on scheduled tasks.

Thanks TomaM1.  That's just the ticket to make that nagging go away.
