I updated my Dell Laptop today, (using AMD A6) after I update the system, there is a mouse lag on it. I disabled Cortana and also disable the feature of connecting people in the Taskbar, and tried to see if my touchpad driver is up to date, but I still have problems. My PC use Radeon Settings for managing the Video Driver. I tried that I saw on the Internet, but the problem is not solved. Is Anyone face the same problem?

    For anyone with A6-6310

Please Don't get the latest AMD driver.  It still does not work!

I found the previous version of the AMD drivers on their website, it does everything you wanted.

    The good old link:

    http://support.amd.com/en-us/download/apu/previous/detail?os=Windows+10+-+64&rev=17.2.1(best thing ever)

Works at the following situations: I can't roll back to previous version of windows/I can't roll back to earlier version of my graphic card drive/I upgraded to windows 10 build 1709 and mouse lagged when I moved it

    1. go to the link and download whatever version you want, they all work.
    2. run the downloaded file, just click on it
    3. do everything the driver installation process asked you
    4. done!

Tip: when you installed it, please click costumed install if you don't want AMD problem report and AMD driver automated update in which are useless.

Tip: For any other similar problems but with a slightly different product, please go to the below link to look for your driver, and do step 1 to 4

Hey, so the first thing I did was try reverting/updating the display/mouse drivers, which didn't work. It might work for other people though?

It's very likely simply a display driver issue that you are experiencing. I encountered the exact same issue after this recent update and I was able to resolve it by updating my display driver.

It seems like it's just "mouse lag" as you describe, but test if it's the display driver by watching a video and see if the mouse pauses in unison with pauses in the video. If it does then it's a display issue.

Go into your Device Manager, select your Display Adapter, right-click and choose to update the driver. There should be updated drivers for most graphics cards by this point.

FWIW, I have a Lenovo laptop, I use the touchpad, and my graphics card is an AMD Radeon R5.

    Hello,

It is possible that the issue is being caused by a driver that was updated during the recent Windows update. To assist you with your concern, we suggest that you perform a clean boot first to check if this will isolate the issue. You can refer to this article on how to perform a clean boot.

Note: After performing the troubleshooting, you can refer to Reset the computer to start normally after clean boot troubleshooting in the same article.

If the issue still persist, try to perform a System File Checker scan and fix corrupted system files.

The last resort is to roll back the driver that was worked before. You can find the instructions on how to roll back a device driver through this TechNet article.

    Let us know the outcome.

    Regards.
