Uninstalling Microsoft Launcher (Samsung Galaxy J7 Perx -Android). Microsoft Launcher did a HUGE bait and switch on my phone. My original home screen was a Google launcher. Very simple, efficient layout. Fast to use and navigate my simple needs on, lol. While using my PC, I just wanted phone call alerts to appear in the corner of my screen. I saw this function available in my Apps locator on my Cortana search bar. The APP was from Microsoft and not some 3rd party. 10 million users, 4 stars, no glaring reviews, so how bad could it get? It was not worded or shown as a complete administrative command change to a phone, but just a simple call alert app. Upon downloading the link sent to the cell phone # I gave, the phone app revealed itself as Microsoft Launcher. It suddenly wanted a million permissions and other changes to my Android's system. I hit "deny "on all "10" requests (YES 10!!!) and immediately tried to get rid of the d**n thing. But it already had changed my home screen and command structure. The uninstall button wasn't available when I went into my Android's apps settings. So I forced a "stop" instead. After that, you have to locate your default launcher choices in your system (good luck with that) and select the previous launcher you had. Only THEN, the uninstall button becomes available on Microsoft Launcher in your system apps settings. The whole process was no easy, every day, common person sequence of tech knowledge to find. And a very frustrating, unnecessary learning curve. WTH Microsoft!!! Warn people next time that a simple phone call alert APP is only a small fraction of a greater system change BEFORE you download into some ones phone! Not cool. Very frustrated with Microsoft (and other companies) overly aggressive marketing ploys the past 7 or 8 years. When your the technology rulers of the World, asking for forgiveness is easier than asking for permission lately.
how do I remove Microsoft Launcher from my phone
I decided to respond to an email and sync my phone to 10. After downloading, ti presented one program after another to download and will not accept a refusal and it keeps showing me ads. I want my old control system back. I cannot erase Microsoft launcher but I did deactivate it. That has helped some. I have trouble getting the home page to have what I need on it and I have difficulty using it as a phone now at times although deactivating it did help this. Can I go back to my old management system on my galaxy 6?

Please go to the Google Play Store and look for Microsoft Launcher from your applications and when you find it. Just click uninstall. That should do it.
