So, not sure that I agree. One thing that I have found is that using a touch screen is a lot faster than dragging a mouse around. I do have a 3rd place finish and I didn't cheat to get it. But I do agree that some of these times are ridiculous. I think some people use two user names, use 1 to figure out the game, and the other to get a good score. But to me, that takes too much time.
There are some other "tricks" to employ that I have figured out. For example:
- In a Klondike game where the goal is not to complete the game but to "play the 7 clubs" or "play 3 fours". Very quickly go through the deck and assess which cards are already there. In some cases, all the cards are in the deck and you don't need to play any cards in the field.
- In Pyramid games, where there is more than 1 deal available and the goal is to "complete 2 boards in 2 deals". For each hand, assess the field for the presence of all four cards of the same number. If that occurs and the matching pair is at the top of the pyramid, then the deal can't be solved. Don't waste time on that. Just click through that game as fast as possible and move on to the next one.
There are strategies for other games, but you will have to figure those out for yourself.
