At my age (80) I like to play to keep my brain active but it still irks me that people find it necessary to cheat. Ego inflation ? The problem is what can be done  to stop them ? Not that it really matters as I'm content with my own achievements.

I did not know it would cost time to enter back into the game. So thanks for letting me know.

    RE: the leaderboard

This Franswar et al has been on the leaderboard for about 2 months with the same unbelievable times.  Now there is another gamer doing the same thing.

I can't imagine myself playing these games a gazillon times every two days.  I like playing but not THAT MUCH...I would get bored.

I find that when I play, I typically play straight through.  By the time the game is ended, I am never in the place I left.  4-5 people wait until the very last minute and knock everybody out.

When you take your breaks, do not stay in the actual game board, but BACK out to the main screen.  You will not be penalized and the clock will stop.

Thanks Snowflake. I know to back out but sometimes forget. But backing out and re-entering can cost time.

[Quote myself]  Just completed todays Easy Street 1hr 25min 42   which I consider about average for me. Re-starting 3 games and taking a couple of breaks which probably cost me 10 mins. Roughly 3 mins per game. I ranked 17.  The fastest time was 44mins 8 secs which is about 1.4 mins per game. So today it is possible no-one was cheating.

Update.......I'm in South Australia and the game starts at 9:00 pm. I start  about 9:00 am the following morning by which time a lot of people will have finished. Yesterday (Wed) I was 17 expecting to be overtaken by a few.  This morning I am 21 and the top 7 names are totally different from yesterday and times of 25 mins plus. Less than 1 min for every game.  And note the repetition of names. Definitely CHEATS

Note also the number of awards.   CHEATS
