thanks rusty - Later I found out that people with older versions of MS Solitaire (window7 and 8 i believe) can make some changes to the program in order to activate auto solve. Auto solve is very fast. I cannot fathom how people who do that gain any satisfaction or get any feeling of achievement.
Solitaire collection events cheating
The top 100 in solitaire events have to be cheating as it is a physical impossibility to even click through the cards in 20 + games in the times they are achieving.

2018-05-02T00:01:08+00:00 i agree 100% that there are cheaters, i once-once!!!- got 5th place--- much to my surprise----i usually am a lot lower, like 38, 48, 58, how do we stop them? put them on a separate game with all expert puzzles. there was another game that i played on my tablet that took me 5 minutes and those people 10 seconds,
i am not a cheater and never will be. competition is fun, but not when people cheat.
thanks for letting me give my two cents worth

2018-04-19T12:14:23+00:00 So, how come WebbedNickel 124 has scored 3350 in 51:34 when the event has only been running for 9 minutes? (See the clock in the screenshot in the system tray)
No point in trying to compete if this is so overt

Helpful. Really helpful.
Really Helpful. That's what I thought about Sockmonkey's long winded reply. Expert players ? They're cheats

2018-07-15T22:41:48+00:00 I wish that Microsoft would address this. Sure, it's only a game, but some of us enjoy the competition... except when the game is clearly rigged. I would NOT consider paying for Premium Membership unless and until Microsoft addressed this issue satisfactorily. If others did the same, perhaps Microsoft would take measures to prevent bots - and if "cheating" is to be allowed, at least they could put the cheaters in their own group. But I am NOT paying for a game where this problem is allowed and ignored.
