++ the future of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones ++

++ the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumia mobile phones is discontinued, but many of them are still in action and competitive. In my opinion, the timing for their launch alongside the first versions of Windows 10 mobile has been a problem (later versions of Windows 10 mobile are more competitive). I compare the path of Microsoft Lumia phones with the path of Mercedes F1 Team. If you have perseverance, you can win, but you need to have realistic intermediary goals. You must not be number one from the start, but rather be on the field, with competitive, distinctive devices (1% market share can be achieved with the core fans of Microsoft Windows). 1% is not a small number of users & translates to even more when we focus on Windows users. So my question is for Microsoft & fans // is it possible to continue the manufacturing process of Microsoft Lumias for the fans of the brand & Windows ? // ++  #theWindowsthatneversleeps +

    • company officials once have said that the company should be in mobile (i.e. direct mobile ambitions), if it has something unique
    • at the moment we can see that the unique Windows 10 mobile & newly (rumors) also the impressive Microsoft Edge is in peril & if this goes in this way the company will lose some real growth possibilities & personality
    • I think they should really watch at least 10 years of Formula 1 to understand better competition & the need for perseverance & the fact that a good product in itself is a victory //

    • on Amazon the reviews received by the supported devices of the Lumia line are fairly positive, so I think a decent factory can survive on this demand, which can surpass the demand for surface devices. Universal Windows Platform is one & the Lumia line consolidates it & makes it complete.
    • Windows has another great feature: many apps can run in the same time
    • Mercedes AMG on the podium in 2018 US GP

    • the truth is // 93tid //, that the text quoted above has been published at October 12th, then modified at October 13th in the version celebrated by enthusiasts, then at October 15th reverted to the initial version // maybe a joke ++ not quite, because on October 10th there were no updates available for version 1607 & then after the announcement a huge update exceeding 0.5 GB has become available // so in the worst case scenario this huge update will keep the phones in top shape for some months (Lumia Denim 8.1s can still operate & support has ended in 2016) & yes, probably assistance will be retired.

    ++ the company has had the chance to brake the smartphone support cycle record (some smartphones could have been supported for some 6 years since their launch) & looks like cannot achieve this winners' cup //

    • the Anniversary Update 1607 Windows 10 mobile has deserved another year of support & the fans can be happy to use their productive & performant devices ++ great news for many Lumia phones 📱✨

    ++ this move can explain the new Lumia 930s at online retailers or the production run for the Wiley Fox pro 📱✨ maybe it is not the great Lumia wave (not yet), but + things can happen 📱✨
