OH NO!

Back to the Thumbnail Cache deletion Problem again!

MS please fix this real fast!

I was one of the testers giving information that Win10 always deleted the thumbnailcache.

https://windows.uservoice.com/forums/265757-windows-feature-suggestions/suggestions/6557758-fix-the-annoying-thumbnail-cache-automatic-deletio?page=1&per\_page=20

Sorry page cannot be accessed any more!

All was fine after MS did some fixing with the help of MAAANNNY others that had the same problem!

Now I did the Fall Creators update! BAM! Back again.

Thumbnails get deleted ON EYERY reboot!

Thats really really annoying!

Do not try a solution. There is none!

The failure in the past was a database corruption. MS fixed it ( do not know how) and it worked. Now it is back!

Please dig into it an fix it!

Another sufferer from the very same problem, thumbnail caches get deleted every few hours. Turning off auto-maintenance won't help, updates till now won't help, windows 10 1709, please Microsoft, FIX IT!

I don't know why Microsoft would want to delete all the Thumbnails like they are doing in this latest Fall Creators Update

and no way that I know to stop it.

I sure hope the fix this problem fast

I thought that it maybe fixed in the monthly update a few days ago but nothing

again Microsoft Please Fix the Thumbnail problem and put in on the top of the list

    Steve

    Okay

Did some intense testing and rolled back to 1703 15063.674

Thumbnail Cache stays and is present.

A second install of 1709 on a separate SSD shows same behaviour.

Definitivly a problem of 1709---- another....

    Please fix!
