Total time is wrong for Microsoft Solitaire Event Challenges

It happened again today.

I played less than 2 hours...left for  many hours, logged off in xbox (beta), logged off the pc, closed down entirely and when I returned late at night,

I was charged with more than 10 hours!

I deleted the game.

I downloaded again.

Nothing had changed.

I haven't got enough pc-knowledge to start this Powershell-thingy...I just wouldn't dare.

Isn't there any other way to get the time right...in this game-comepetition??

ARE YOU DEAF, BLIND OR JUST IGNORANT TO WHAT IS HAPPENING, DEAR MICROSOFT?

ps. I have already written a complaint this night ...in fact it is morning...past 07:00 am

and because it's that late...no sleep at all,

my writings sounds even more worse than usual.....but I'm so frustrated because of this.

It was such lil'fun to have, playing this game,

and now it's just useless.....(I'm not hooked on hours and minuttes, but I feel so ashamed and foolish, as my time is shown for all to see),

and it's so strange, 'cause few days ago...I ended up with normal time, eventhough I left now and then.

Sorry, for this mess of words.

Blame it on Microsoft and their games.. ;((

The timer for each dealt hand is generally okay, but the problem is that the time posted for the next deal is based on the last deal when the game is returned to Home and exited between games. This gives the effect of adding elapsed time to the next deal.

I just played 20 hands of the event in just over an hour and 20 minutes and then exited to Home and then exited Solitaire. I went to lunch and ran an errand. I came home, started Solitaire and the event and looked at the Leaderboard. My time was still correct. I played my 21st game and it was completed in 2 minutes and 31 seconds. I then looked at the Leaderboard again, and now my time was displayed as over 2 and half hours, affecting my placement on the Leaderboard.

This is clearly a bug and is easily correctable. If it is true that 200,000 or more players participate in each event, then it is unfortunate that Microsoft doesn't address this long-standing issue. Like many players, I am challenged to achieve a high final ranking, but this bug defeats that possibility unless I start the event and plug on with every one of the thirty (sometimes fewer) hands dealt.

It is bush league scoring.

This seems to be an ongoing problem.  Hopefully Microsoft can do something to resolve this. I now check the times while I'm playing and while there aren't as many hours added, the times are still off from what I'm reading on solve times.  I also disconnect my tablet from the internet so that it really can't run the game the same way when I'm not playing. Seems to have helped, but won't work on a PC.

If you retry, the timer starts from zero. But, when you finish the time added for this challenge is the total time used of all your attempts for the challenge not just the last one.
