Im having issues with my Bose QC35, i have successfully installed (or at least i think i did it). But i cant play any sound on them, is like they are not paired at all. After a few minutes the QC35 gets off saying there is no device available.

Just to add, the QC35 are working perfectly fine with my android phone and also other laptop with Windows 10

Bluetooth Devices:

Bose QC35 Properties:

If i go to the operation windows (right click on the BT device icon)

When i go to sound devices i cant see the QC35. (same if i try from Skype, Spotify, etc)

I have already downloaded the latest driver for the bluetooth from Dell, restarted the laptop hundred of times and also contacted Bose without luck

If anybody can shed some light on this i will very gratefull

Greetings to all from the Czech Republic.

    I had the same problem.

When firsttime run the QC35, start Bluetooth pairing, QC35 showed in the Device List. When I have clicked on Add device it ended with error.  I was reading this forum first, then investigate myself.

PROBLEM WITH CONNECTING QC35 TO WIN7-64bit WAS IN BLUETOOTH DRIVER.

Do not search for QC drivers as propagated by moderator, that is a nonsense. Problem was in my case in Bluetooth driver installed in the system (Win 7 64bit). I have uninstalled it completely, download new BT driver from manufacturer (In my case it was chipset Intel 7260 ... oficial from Intel did "worked" in my Lenovo laptop same way ... I have uninstalled it also and finally installed similar driver from Lenovo directly. After QC35 normaly paired ...

When paired go to Devices and Printers, doublelick it and run services. Now I am finally listening music from my laptop also.

    Hi Alejandro,

Hardware and software are factors to be considered for a Bluetooth device to work properly. Devices that don't speak on the same Bluetooth language will not be able to connect or pair with each other.

For us to determine the root cause of your concern, provide additional information by answering the questions below:

    • What is your device model?
    • When did the issue start?
    • Have you tried to remove ghost devices from your device manager? If not, kindly do so and see if the issue still persists. For instructions on how to remove ghost devices, refer to this link.
    • Are you using a Bluetooth dongle or does your device has an inbuilt Bluetooth chip?

We'll be waiting for your response.

This works but having to reboot on reconnect is quite annoying.  Sometimes disabling and re-enabling the driver works but not all the time.  There needs to be a better work around.

In my case, I use the Microsoft Generic Bluetooth Adapter, which seems to be from 2006.  Is this updateable to, perhaps, support the QC35 on Windows 7?
