How to undo a "scheduled folder"

So, on my phone, I accidentally made one of my folders "scheduled."  Now that folder has a clock next to it's name instead of a folder icon.  I don't know what I did to make that happen.  I don't know what a "scheduled" folder is.  I don't know what benefits I get from having a "scheduled" folder, but I don't want it to be that way.  In fact, I attempted to delete the folder on the outlook.com web app, but the "scheduled" folder continues to appear on my Android Outlook (formerly Acompli) app.  

Can anyone tell me how to undo what I've done?  And can anyone point me to any documentation which would explain what a "scheduled" folder is and why I might want one?

    1. Are you using an Android phone or a Windows phone?
    2. What Operating system are you using?
    3. Are you using Exchange to access your emails?
    4. Is the scheduled folder being used for the folders in Outlook or your device?

    First: Sry for my english.

    I called the microsoft support because of this problem, after 10 calls they fixed it with a installed outlook 2016 app + MFCMAPI.

    First you need to set up the outlook.com Account in outlook 2016, then you open mfcmapi (just google it for a download link) - there you start a new session, double click at your account -> Go to IPM_SUBTREE - And there delete the folder.

    EDIT:

    Then go to outlook 2016, check if the folder is gone (it should be gone), then go to Send/receive -> Refresh folders

    Then go back to outlook.com -> there delete the folder also. 

    That worked here for me.
