It is the recent update that killed Live Mail. I am not the only one reporting this, nor the only one discussing this issue. The update you sent out for Live Mail killed the updating of received mail coming in. Some syncing is not occurring, and the new mail is not going to, coming into, or downloading to our accounts in LIVE MAIL. The recent update did this, or you don't have the system operational yet. You need to read some of the discussions that are ongoing reference LIVE mail, and the issues, like not receiving mail, etc. If we log into the accounts in the Web Mail, we can see the real email. Then compare it to what we see in LIVE MAIL, and the two do not match. We have all done in uninstall, reinstall, repair, and more. The problem is with LIVE MAIL.

The most recent update you sent out via "updates" for Live Email killed my account sync. I checked emails on line using the web view and see emails that ARE NOT arriving in my accounts in LIVE EMAIL. The most recent update for LIVE Mail has not corrected any issues, and my mail is not syncing nor is it arriving in my LIVE EMAIL account. Does MS plan on fixing this? I have a Dell with Windows 7. It is suppose to work for W7, and your update makes matters worse. Now how do I get rid of the update?

I would give System Restore a go; if that works you should be back to normal. Complete uninstall would be the next option.

Live Mail still not syncing for me on hotmail.com acc. 2 other hotmail.co.uk accs. still work ok. Using W7.

Any more news as to a fix? Damned inconvenient to say the least.

If it's the same computer (not the same problem) as in this previous post of yours, chances are there's more to the story...

Is MS ever planning on weighing in on this issue or getting the W10 install corrected? Twice now the W10 killed updates from W7 that MS keeps insisting we do... [SOURCE]
