Possible to watch movies I purchased on XBOX One on my Apple iPhone?

I have over 300 movies now on Microsoft Videos and I am really disappointed that almost three years after it was mentioned by Microsoft that there will be an IoS app that is still does not exist. I feel like I have been mislead and will no longer be buying movies from Microsoft!!

Microsoft needs to get an app out pronto or I'll just buy my movies from other vendors.

Thanks, airmattdog.  That is the classiest way for someone from Microsoft to say "deal with it" without actually saying it.  Good to keep things classy. 

So I have bought a decent amount of TV shows and Movies from Microsoft, not a ridiculous amount mind you, but I won't continue this in future.  While I love my XBOX one (objectively less so now unfortunately)

I cannot fathom why Microsoft would want to be so stubborn with opening up viewing options.  Just doing a quick google search and reading the titles, so not the most in depth analysis obviously, it looks like Windows OS phones are at less than 1% of market share in mobile phones.  NO ONE is going to start buying Windows phones or tablets so that they can watch their purchased content from Windows conveniently.... At most very very few might but god help them.  Most people like myself are just going to shop elsewhere.  Anything I buy from Google for example I can watch on my mobile devices AND MY XBOX ONE from the Youtube app.... Soooooooo.....

I don't know what your margins are for the sale of movies and TV shows, but I am sure that it is not nothing... You guys need to start thinking about your competitive advantages and why people should want to do business with Windows, because stuff like this makes the reasons less and less.

I stumbled on this thread while googling how to fix my problem.  After purchasing a new pc laptop I was given $50 to spend in the microsoft store.  Without thinking I spent it on movies figuring that I would simply add them to my iphone or ipad to watch.  Basically what I've done with movies purchased from other sources.  However I can't import the movies to itunes after downloading.  I'm also unable to play the movies on any apps other than the movies and tv app on the laptop.  I tried opening them in vlc, gom player, you name it.  Then I decided to do what I do with other movies downloaded from outside sources.  I used Replay Converter to try to convert the downloaded purchases so that they would be a recognized format in itunes.  It didn't work.  I'm at a loss and it makes no sense to me why microsoft did this.  I've never run into this issue when purchasing movies from other sources.  Yet friends with Androids are able to watch movies that they purchased on their laptops through itunes.  Isn't that interesting?  Thank goodness I didn't actually use my own money to purchase anything from the microsoft store.  Just a shame that I probably won't get to enjoy these movies.  O_o;
