Quiet Hours in Windows 10 Mobile

I recently upgraded my phone from the Nokia Lumia 1020 to the Nokia Lumia 950.  It came preloaded with Windows 10 Mobile.  While I am still learning to navigate the operating system on the phone, although it seems easy since I run Windows 10 on my PC, I am having difficulty with using the Quiet Hours function.  Using Windows 8.1 on my old phone allowed me to set up Cortana to block all calls during times when my calendar had been marked as busy.  This was great as I would just put my classes into my schedule and my students never heard my phone unless it was an emergency.  However, now it seems that the only way to set up Quiet Hours is to manually tell the phone to turn on the QH function or set it up for specific times regardless of my schedule.  It seems funny that this function went backwards when everything else went forward.  Is there any way to do it like I did before?

I appreciate your patience in this regard.

Quiet hours will turn on automatically at the times you've set. But you can still turn it on manually. When you go to Quiet hours setting it will give many flexible options that allows you to customize Quiet hours accordingly. Sat for example, you can set date on which the phone should enable the quite hours along with Start and End time. Basis to which Quiet hours will turn on automatically.

It also allows you to Edit break-through list. Where you can allow the emergency calls from desired contacts. Moreover Cortana will also send text to contacts who aren't allowed through, saying that I'm busy at the moment.

With regard to the desired task or event sync from the Calendar app, I suggest you to post your feedback using Windows feedback app, which will helps us to look into this with future updates. This will helps us to improve your experience.

    This is all very interesting - I thought quiet hours was one of the incredibly nice features of v8.1 on my 735 phone, and now QH won't even automatically activate at all.  It's a manual task.  Maybe it should just be 'quiet mode'.  You have to remember to put your phone to sleep in the evening, and wake it up in the morning - wow, automating that should be simple.  And, FWIW, I can't even create a breakthrough list - that screen for that is non-functional, when it stays up for more than a split second.

    At least I now see that it's not my problem, and not my phone's problem. This is sad, and totally unexpected.

    Is there a way we can get this feature working again?  Reboots and downgrades are not appropriate answers to users of any platform.  What happened to insuring that during product development that you don't break features? 

    I was having problems finding quiet hours on my new Lumia 550 until I read that it was in Cortana and it works great for me. Don't know your 735 has an issue with Cortana. It's found in Cortana menu in upper left corner bars and under notifications. Hope this helps .

    Your answer I was looking for was buried in this system. I'm coming from 8.1 and couldn't find Quiet Hours. 

    One thing that would be helpful is that when I search Quiet... on the Settings screen, it would return a result. I would have NEVER looked in Cortana Notebook for this feature.

    Auto-setting of Quiet Hours when the Calendar shows "busy" is an essential feature for me - after trying to live without it on my Lumia 640XL for a couple of weeks, I rolled back my phone's O/S to WM8.1.  Hopefully the feature will return in the Anniversary update.

    I really enjoyed using this feature as well. It was particularly useful when I had client booked and Quiet Hours would just turn on automatically. I too hope they bring back that feature.
