Location is greyed out, i cannot remove internet explorer 11 addon after virus removal

I am running Windows 10 64 bit

After removing a virus using windows defender and malwarebytes, I could no longer...

A. remove these internet explorer add ons, to wit:

  1. Ó¦Óñ¦Ò»¼ü°²×°²å¼þ npQQPhoneManagerExt.dll
  2. 电脑管家网页防火墙 TSWebMon64.dat

B. activate Location in Notification since it is always greyed out now

    OK. I'll redouble my efforts to get an idea about this one. Looks like it was curable in Win 8.1. There was a way to turn off Location completely as it is in your machine - & then to undo that...

    But that requestor is removed in Win 10, where it can only be toggled ON/OFF. At least, I can't find one in this machine. Can you get to that Control Panel page? I'll look a bit more - but most of the posts & literature deals with pre-Win 10 complaints. I wonder, did you turn it off with that requestor before your upgrade to Win 10? Maybe it stuck through the upgrade, then. Still looking.

    Absolutely, if you bought Office, let that one alone. I only wonder why its BHO is disabled, then. But I noticed in my research there are some who prefer it that way. OK, we'll leave that alone.

    So, you uninstalled the Yahoo toolbar, & its BHO apparently has vacated the Manage Add-ons screen. It appears to have left a little junk in the registry, though. I think we can let that alone; it is nowhere visible in IE 11 to annoy you. Especially if you have kept Messenger, itself, let that BHO remnant remain. Otherwise - if you nevertheless decide you want to be rid of it - post pictures of all occurrences of "02478d38-c3f9-4efb-9b51-7695eca05670". Or, if that's the only occurrence in the registry - by all means, R-Clk it in the left pane, & select "Delete". Carefully! Just that!

    Normally, Java is not needed. Could be you need it, if you've got something else that uses it. (I really don't know much about it.) OK, if you're keeping it, keep its BHOs. It is definitely a legit app.

    So, that's it for BHOs. Glad we've had this success!

    My only prob as of the moment is the Location button that is greyed out...

    I tried to click CHANGE under "Location for this device is off" but nothing happens....
