Windows defender keep asking to update every 2nd day....

Hi

windows defender is keep asking to update it every 2nd day, action centre displays the notification about out of date  windows defender, when i open it windows defender completes the update as normally and than the other day it appears again.

any solutions to this??

    1. Uninstall KB3035583 & KB2976978 as well as KB3065988 (if already installed) & reboot.
    2. Run a manual check for updates. Hide the (Optional) Intel driver update - then check & install KB3035583, KB2976978, KB3065988 and any Important updates offered; follow all prompts. [1][2]

    1. Confirm that ALL of the updates you install in #2 above (other than a Flash Player update) are listed in Installed Updates.
    2. Run another manual check for updates and see if KB3035583, KB2976978 and/or KB3065988 are still being offered.
    3. Reply to this post with a status report & tell if you're still being prompted to update Defender manually every other day?

    yes on checking manual updates it shows

    KB3065988

    KB3035583

    KB2976978

    and it is also showing update for IE flash player (2267602)

    but none of them are able to  install. i try one by one and also together, but it wont go further than " preparing to install "

    KB3065988, KB3035583 & KB2976978 are all being offered when you run a manual check for updates, is that correct?

    Didn't you tell me that KB3035583 & KB2976978 were already listed in Installed Updates?

    What Definitions version is currently displayed in Defender's Update tab?

    Note: KB2267602 is a Definitions update for Windows Defender, not a Flash Player update.

    yes on checking manual updates it shows

    KB3065988

    KB3035583

    KB2976978

    and it is also showing update for IE flash player (2267602)

    yesterday i ran DISM after following a answer to my same question, it took 3 hours and it showed that corrupt component is repaired successfully.
