Video controls are small - How to resize?

1. Are you using a resolution more than the recommended resolution for your system?
2. Does this small-sized options issue occur with every other program, icons etc.?
3. Have you also tried to change the screen text size?
4. Have you recently updated any display adapter?

The above information is necessary for further troubleshooting to fix the issue. In the meanwhile, I would suggest you to try the following methods and check if they help.

Method 1:

LCD monitors, including laptop screens, typically run best at their native resolution. You don't have to set your monitor to run at this resolution, but it's usually recommended in order to ensure you see the sharpest text and images possible.

So, I would suggest you to refer to the section Set your monitor to its native resolution in the following link and check for the correct or recommended screen resolution for your monitor's screen size.

Method 2:

You may also try to make the text and other items larger without changing the screen resolution. Refer to the following steps:

1. Open Screen Resolution by swiping in from the right edge of the screen, tapping Search (or if you're using a mouse, pointing to the upper-right corner of the screen, moving the mouse pointer down, and then clicking Search), entering Make text larger in the search box, and then tapping or clicking Make text and other items larger or smaller.
2. Drag the slider until the items in the preview image are the size you want them to be.
3. Tap or click Apply. Note: You'll see the change the next time you sign in to Windows.

Another possibility could be a system file corruption. To check with this, you need to run a System File Checker (SFC) scan. Refer to the following steps:

1. Press Windows key + X, click Command Prompt (Admin).
2. In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:

sfc /scannow

Installed the 3 optional updates, still same size unfortunately.

As the issue is, not only with the browsers but with the media players installed on the system as well, I would suggest you to check and install any pending Windows updates.

1. Open Windows Update by swiping in from the right edge of the screen (or, if you're using a mouse, pointing to the lower-right corner of the screen and moving the mouse pointer up), tapping or clicking Settings, tapping or clicking Change PC settings, and then tapping or clicking Update and recovery.
2. Tap or click Check now, and then wait while Windows looks for the latest updates for your PC.
3. If updates are found, tap or click Install updates. Read and accept the license terms, and then tap or click Finish if the update requires it.
