I did not install KB3033929 and I see that it is no longer being offered.
edit: Nevermind. I forgot I hid the update. Still wondering why it hasn't been pulled or reissued. Not planning to install until there is some action from MS related to it.

I'm having problems with the KB3033929 update from the latest run of Tuesday patches. After installation the PC reboots, but during the boot up configuration of the patch it fails and Windows starts reverting the configuration and reboots. And then it starts all over again a couple of times until it eventually boot into Windows. I looked into Windows' setup logs and found the following:
So what is wrong?

I found a solution to stop the endless loop. KB3033929 never successfully installed. The last few days, it would try when I shut down, and fail to install when I started my pc in the morning, so it would revert back to the prior configuration.
Today, i went to Control Panel, Windows Update, then right clicked on KB3033929, and clicked "Hide".
It is still not installed, but the endless loop has stopped, now shut down and start up are back to the normal times. I hope I live long enough to see Microsoft solve the problem.
I have the same problem with Window 7, 64-bit.
Security Update for Windows 7 for x64-based Systems (KB3033929)
Installation date: 3/12/2015 4:20 PM
Installation status: Failed
Error details: Code 80004005
I have run the Update Fix It tool from Microsoft.
I have tried a Clean Boot per Microsoft instructions.
I also downloaded the update to install manually from:
Security Update for Windows 7 (KB3033929)
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=46078
This also failed and indication I had the wrong Windows version for this update ???
None of these worked.
I also have a dual boot system (2 HDs), primary one with Windows 7, Second drive with Windows XP.
I have disabled the dual boot configuration and restored my original boot loader so system now goes straight into Windows 7, without the selection menu. This also did not work, still the update fails.
Any suggestions, or wait for a fix my Microsoft ?
