I'm trying to decide whether to upgrade to Windows10.  The main use for this computer, is sewing/embroidery software, 4D Embroidery.  Is W 10 going to run that software satisfactorily?

Okay, I tried using the compatibility mode and now the 64 bit driver will install and the 32 bit driver will not.  I still get a driver error when I try to use the Reader/Writer.

What compatibility mode did you use?

I have installed 4D on my Windows 10 computer along with the updates and the dongle update and everything works fine except sending to the Reader/Writer so that I can actually use the designs.  The 32 bit Vista driver installs; the 64 bit Vista driver will not.  In any event, the computer won't recognize the Reader/Writer.  Any suggestions?

I'm really confused at this point.  Why are Vista drivers installing?  Are you using Vista compatibility mode on your computer?  Is your computer a 32-bit or 64-bit computer?  Is this a laptop or a desktop computer?  There is a known issue with some laptops and the USB controllers.  It should be okay that the 64-bit driver doesn't install because the 4D program is a 32-bit program.
