OK. I just want to clarify and confirm. Windows Media Playerwill be available with Windows 10, but Windows Media Center will not be available.... Right? ( I hope so, as I usually use the Windows Media Player on my Windows 7 PC to play my music)

2016-01-14T06:04:52+00:00 I have followed all the suggestions in the message I received. When I try to download Windows Media Player 12 it says I have that with 10. I can find my music library but cannot play anything.
This is the message I get:
The license cannot be downloaded because your Web browser is not supported.
To download a license, you must install Microsoft Internet Explorer 7 or later.
To install the latest version of Internet Explorer, see the Windows Update page.
This last step has also been no help. I think I want to get rid of Windows 10. I thought 8.1 was bad, but this is a bigger nightmare.

2016-01-12T19:41:25+00:00 I downloaded 10 on my computer at work and it took 10 days for the DVD player to download, so it does not come at the time of upgrade. On my work computer my Media Player works for playing my CD's. BUT my home laptop does not get the free DVD upgrade and I can't play my music through Media Player. I was told on an on-line chat that the upgrades did not come free on home systems and I would have to pay or find another option like VLC. Making me crazy!
