No audio Output Device for Windows 10

I just Installed windows 10 this morning everything runs fine expect for the sound, where is it?

I have tried troubleshooting the problem its says it has fixed it but the little red cross is still is cuddling into the speaker icon. I have tried everything uninstalling and installing the sound again.....does nothing. I even disabled and enabled it......does nothing. I must tell you I am not computer literate and would love for someone to just give me simple instructions and a step by step guide on how to actually fix this problem.

IDT - Audio Device - IDT High Definition Audio CODEC - Error 0x8007001f <<<<<<<<< this is the error that keeps appearing. 

Help me Obi windows Kenobi you're my only hope :)

A couple of things to try and figure this out...

What kind of PC is this?

Could you please post your audio hardware ID here?

1. Run Device Manager
2. Go to Sound, video and game controllers
3. Double-click your audio device
4. Go to the Details tab
5. Select Hardware IDs
6. Right-click to copy them and then paste them in a reply here

Can you try switching to the built-in Windows driver for now?

Steps I have taken to fix this problem so far:

• Updating Driver software automatically
• Updating driver software manually and selecting the one and only option of "High Definition Audio Controller"
• Disabling and Re-enabling the driver
• Uninstalling and reinstalling said driver
• going onto the realtek website and downloading the driver manually and manually installing it after uninstalling the default driver
• reformatting and rebooting completely
• restarting after every step mentioned
• I have been at this for over 6 hours now.

The icon still remains to have a red "x" over the audio. It still says "No audio output device is installed". I have tried everything I can possibly think of.

Error Code: High Definition Audio Controller PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C20&SUBSYS_1AA31043&REV_05\3&11583659&0&D8 This device cannot start. (Code 10)

When you click on the device manager, the "sounds, video and game controllers" section isn't listed because there are no audio devices installed. The only sound driver is called "High Definition Audio Controller" and it is under the category of "system Devices". It also has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point next to it to state that it is indeed not working. if you go into it's properties, the Device status states:

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}

The requested operation was unsuccessful."

Personally mine shows up at the moment because it is recognizing my webcam. But before I plugged that in, the category wasn't there. I am assuming it might be the same with JpNoro.

Edit: oh yeah, and the hardware ID's for, at least, mine are

I dont have a sound section in device manager i have windows 10 pro 64-bit
