No audio Output Device for Windows 10

I dont have a sound section in device manager i have windows 10 pro 64-bit

Really? That's strange. What kind of PC is it? Can you post a screen-shot of your Device Manager?

Thanks Shannon. What make and model of computer do you have, and can you share the audio hardware ID?

1. Run Device Manager
2. Go to Sound, video and game controllers
3. Double-click your audio device
4. Go to the Details tab
5. Select Hardware IDs
6. Right-click to copy them and then paste them in a reply here

That way I can try to make the driver switch happen automatically for people with the same computer as you.

I got to this screen but my say that the device is working. But it is not.  I have a HP Pavilion p7-1423W Product # H3Z92AA#ABA.   If I click on Sound Video and Game Controllers it shows IDT High Def Audio CODEC The properties say No Drivers Installed for this device.  Under events it says   Device HDAUDIO\FUNC_01&VEN_111D&DEV_7676&SUBSYS_103C2ADA&REV_1001\4&2cd90f1b&0&0001 requires further installation.

When you click on the device manager, the "sounds, video and game controllers" section isn't listed because there are no audio devices installed. The only sound driver is called "High Definition Audio Controller" and it is under the category of "system Devices". It also has a yellow triangle with an exclamation point next to it to state that it is indeed not working. if you go into it's properties, the Device status states:

"This device cannot start. (Code 10)

{Operation Failed}

The requested operation was unsuccessful."

Personally mine shows up at the moment because it is recognizing my webcam. But before I plugged that in, the category wasn't there. I am assuming it might be the same with JpNoro.

Edit: oh yeah, and the hardware ID's for, at least, mine are

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C20&SUBSYS_1AA31043&REV_05

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C20&SUBSYS_1AA31043

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C20&CC_040300

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1C20&CC_0403

Not sure if they would be the same for JpNoro, but there you go.

Those are HDMI audio ID's, and it's not harmful that they come up "Code 10" if you don't have an HDMI screen connected to the computer.

So if you expand "Sound, video and game controllers" (two up from "System Devices") there's nothing listed? There should be a Realtek entry there, and it'll have "VEN_10EC" somewhere in the hardware ID.
