printer not showing in devices and printers

my printer works fine with installed software but does not show in devices and printers and cannot print emails or any web content

it shows in device manager

    Copy the  CBS log and paste on the desktop. You will then be able to open it.

    PS: use the search facility using the term 'cannot' that will find any file/s which cannot be repaired.

    I have run sfc and it reported corrupt files but access denied to CBS log I will reboot and try msmxl6.reg in safe mode

    See if restarting in Safe Mode allows you to run the msmxl6.reg file without errors.

    If you haven't done as Ron Barker suggested and run sfc /scannow from an elevated command prompt, do that before you retry using the reg file.

    I agree about Bluetooth.  I've seen several people claim that turning on Bluetooth solved a similar problem, but Bluetooth should really have nothing to do with this situation (unless you have a Bluetooth-connected printer, which is pretty rare).

    well on further checking I now find that I can print from email and wed pages but devices and printers is still not showing anything totally confused

    am flying to Venice tomorrow morning so if you do not get response from any post sorry but not here
