Dell Venue Pro loses wireless connection after installing Windows Updates

The Dell Venue 8 Pro and Dell Venue 11 Pro lost all wireless connectivity after installing either Windows Update**KB 2887595** or**KB 2903939**.

How can I get my WiFi back?

Hi,

This issue may occur if specific Windows Updates are not installed in the proper order. Microsoft has made a change to prevent further customers from getting into this state.  Customers must now have a pre-requisite update (KB 2883200) installed before being offered these updates. 

To restore wireless connectivity:

1.     Uninstall all of the following updates:

·         KB 2887595 – Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 update rollup: November 2013

·         KB 2903939 – Windows RT 8.1, Windows 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2 update rollup: December 2013

To uninstall an update, go to the Control Panel and select Programs.  Then, under Programs and Features, select View installed updates.  Select the updates listed above and click Uninstall.  If you’re prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

2.     Install the updates listed below.  When you run Windows Update, the updates will now automatically be installed in the proper order.  You must restart the computer after you apply each update.

·        Install KB 2883200. 

·        Install KB 2887595 and KB 2903939.

    Just came to this forum searching for an answer to my intermittent wifi speeds and freezes on my new DV8P that I just bought last week.  At first I though this couldn't be my problem as surely Microsoft and Dell had addressed this update problem since it first appeared months ago.  But I gave uninstalling the 3 updates above a try, and (knock on wood) my wifi appears to be back to normal, or at least more consistent.  I will post back if problems continue.

    Nope, it don't work doing this... it may for a while, but nope it's all wrong... Best thing to do is uninstall those 3 updates: KB 2883200  KB 2887595 and KB 2903939 and hide them from windows so they never ever waste your's or my time again, and I am talking many many hours!!!

    It is unusual for a tablet to require so much detailed maintenance by users. We 2 x iPads and 4 x Androids in our family. They only tablet that had this level of issues was the Dell.
