as you can see this isnt a isolated issue and needs fixing asap. especially with many big titles just coming in the next few weeks on pc !
how can this be sent higher up so this issue is resolved ? thanks.

2013-11-14T08:36:06+00:00 So if I upgrade to Windows 8.1 and run Mouse Movement Recorder 1.12 is this problem fixed now? Otherwise I'm staying on Windows 8!

2013-11-13T05:31:25+00:00 I have just downloaded and installed the fix for this Windows 8.1 Mouse problem and when I checked Mouse movement with Mouse Movement Recorder the problem is still there! even in game with Raw Mouse Input on. This is a joke for people that play games, Im gona have to do a clean install of windows 8 again now Grrrr :(
Can you please try an updated version of MouseMovementRecorder and see if that helps?
Version 1.12 @ https://docs.google.com/uc?id=0B_PnkMGDlD5ncWhlUjRvX3VtN28&export=download
That an earlier version of MouseMovementRecorder still showed red and green does NOT mean that the problem is still there.
MouseMovementRecorder version 1.12 runs in a mode where the **KB 2908279** fix is automatically applied to it.
Earlier versions of MouseMovementRecorder have to be manually added to the registry area of the fix, otherwise the fix won't be active while MouseMovementRecorder is running and you would see red and green still.
(Read the Microsoft **KB 2908279** article where it says: "How to extend the update to other games".)
Even if the KB 2908279 fix was active in your game with Raw Input on, MouseMovementRecorder often shows red and green in-game, even on Windows XP/Vista/7 : Red and green in-game just means the game is re-positioning the mouse pointer and this means MouseMovementRecorder can't match-up the movements. It doesn't always mean accel or other problem.
If MouseMovementRecorder shows mostly black on the desktop, then all is well.

It actually also seems to fix the problems in World of Warcraft even thought it's not listed as one of the games it applies to.
Unfortunately it didn't work for Dark Age of Camelot. I tried the update and the manual registry entry.
:(
I think they are loosing a big part of the audience - gamers and addicted gamers =) Ruined win7, add metroint for fingers, still not using container technology, cut the mouse polling rate (it means there is nobody who can test it before rtm (a lot of managers in corporation=) - smartest decisions. Good for mac.
