How to install Apps in SD Card in Windows 8.1 ?

May I know whether is there any way to enable us to install windows store apps into the micro SD card, since my 16GB Dell Tablet is running out of memory. I am using Windows 8.1 (Not RT) ?

Hi Yaman,

By default Windows Store apps will be saved in the following location.

C:\Program Files\WindowsApps

Hence, it is not possible to move Windows Store apps to SD card.

I would suggest you to delete the unnecessary files from the computer and check if it improves in memory.

You may also get in touch with the manufacturer to increase the memory.

    I'm so tired of answers that cater to corporate profits and not Users Needs, Exactly who is Microsoft working for. I had the same problem within the first few days of using my new windows tablet. Microsoft is a JOKE! I'm personally losing all since of trust in the ability of Microsoft to create an operating system with Integrity, It's just plain dishonesty period, to put out such ****. Tablets should have mandated required specs for PC Makers prior to Microsoft selling Licences.

    That's not very helpful. Logically mklink from a folder to another folder should do it - what's so different that Microsoft disable this in 8.1?

    I have the same Dell that's running out of space. It seems MS can manage this better.

    That's not very helpful when android can do that easily.

    I really hope this stuff will fix on next big update 8.1 update 1 (April 8) pleeeeease!
