The NetworkImprovements.sis workaround does not apply to Nokia E51, sadly.

Hi
Our company has resently renewed our external certifcate for Exchange active sync. The certificate is SHA2 signed.
From that day Nokia C5,E71 and E72 models stopped syncing.
I belive that it has to do with the SHA2 signing algoritm, and I just want to get that confirmed or confirmation that it isn´t that that causes the communication issues.

2016-01-10T10:59:06+00:00 Networking Improvement.sis is signed with a certificate only valid to 2016-01-02. So you have set your phone's date/time to somewhat like 2016-01-01, to get the SIS-package installed.

Mail for Exchange is based on Exchange ActiveSync (EAS). No, Opera Mini allows to connect to webpages (HTTP) only. If you want to continue to use such an E-mail account on your Nokia E71, you have to ask your administrator for OWA access; or revert back to a SHA-1 based certificate.

It is sad to realize that a trustworthy phone is no longer officially supported, but even my Nokia N8 requires unofficial workarounds after the latest official updates long ago, to continue working on the modern Internet. - Thank you Abi99 (2)
