This thread is NOT about limited connectivity!

I firmly believe that folks with Limited connectivity probably just have configuration issues, which may or may not be fixed with Network Diagnostics, but this is a different problem! Please start your own thread.

Microsoft have a bug that requires a fix and I for one think they are being very slow at even acknowledging the issue!
Well, I see your point and agree with your reasoning, but disagree slightly with your "headline" ;-)
As I see it, it's not about "actual limited" in the good, old sense - misconfigured nedwork/adapter, but rather a "positive false" diagnose message and error complex, stating "limited".
Could it perhaps be caused by an algorithm introduced in Win 8 / 8.1 that turns off your network connectivity with dubious motives (saving power, mobile network cost) based on erroneous measurements as input (e.g. some secret intermittently unreachable internet
nodes) ???
So - as othe as Win-pre-8, OSX, Linux and other devices do not have such a "fancy" algorithm, based on dubious motiveswith erroneous input - so they plainly work :-/ Sorry, I think this smells of big-time do-do handled badly - maybe hits the fan anytime
soon :-/
