Hello.
I got an issue with my Lumia 930 that i bought today.
When i've got an incomming/outgoing call the person on the other end can't hear me, but i can hear them clearly. It works when i put the call on speaker, but i want to be able to call someone and not sharing the conversation with everyone around me.
So far i've done:
Soft reset
Hard reset
Nokia Software recovery tool
Does anyone have this issue?
Is there a fix for this or should i return it?

I'm here to echo what most users are saying that Lumia 930 is a great phone. But now I've experienced the same issue that other users are facing - no audio (only static not even background noise) while recording in video mode. This is so frustrating especially with such a good video quality! What is happening to the phone? Do I need to send it Nokia service centre? Help is greatly needed...
I absolutely love Windows Phone 8.1 UI and the user experience. But very frustrated with the Lumia 930 microphone problem. But because I love windows phone I picked up a Lumia 1020 to continue to enjoy the experience but have a working microphone. This is how much loyalty I have to windows phone. Please Microsoft find a solution to this issue. Btw. I am not crazy about Windows 10 and now androidish it looks. I only updated my Lumia 930 hoping It will fix the microphones issues but sadly It didn't.
Exactly same, phone is fantastic but I need Skype. When in Skype and press speaker lower microphone is stopped. When press speaker again then lower microphone is on.
Nothing hardware as the lower microphone works fine in all calls or even in Skype telephone mode. As long as you not go to speakermode all is fine. When on top speaker (when normal call) no problem. I use skype telephone mode now for contacting family. Evening I use headset with microphone in cable. this is 100% software and should be fixed easy. also I tried windows 10, brr.. horrible but hoped they fixed the microphone issue, no luck and I hope, really hope that someone will create a fix or app or mini update for this. I don't understand why Microsoft doesn't fix this. Appearantly they don't care better buy iPhone where everything works and customers are take seriously
I did the same, no solution on W10 TP. I guess we should insist to MS to fix this with a software patch that reasigns the Mic for speaker mode to the main Mic (the one you use for normal calls) or maybe other Mic (930 has lots of Mics....)
This might be the only way, there must be a software fix, as it was for the purpleish screen... Where could we insist for this?
Well, I just updated my Nokia Lumia, 930 to Windows 10 technical preview. And I was hoping that this would solve the microphone problems, but sadly nothing has changed. So I am not really sure or I have lost any hope that I had that this might have been a software problems and it is most likely it is hardware problem.
