    Now that the Cyan / WP8.1 update appears to be available for my UK country variant Lumia 920, I would like to install it.  Unfortunately, this is only available to adopters of the WP8.1 Developer Preview by rolling back to WP8 (using the Nokia Software Recovery Tool), then updating OTA to the latest official release (and adding the Developer Preview again, if the additional unreleased WP8.1 Update 1 is desired).

    Unfortunately, I get the following message from the Nokia Software Recovery Tool:

    Software package not available for this phone

    Package download for the selected phone failed.

    The parameters listed for the phone by the software are:

    Name:  Nokia Lumia 920

    Type:  RM-821

    IMEI:  (the correct IMEI is shown)

    Product Code:  059N5T5

    Software Version:  3051.40000.1349.0007

    The product code is odd, as the code listed is for a US AT&T Yellow L920 (RM-820), which the phone was originally.   But I had flashed the ROM last year to the GB Country Variant Yellow L920 (RM-821, product code 059R072) usiing the Nokia Care Suite, and all was successful.  I have been getting updates OTA since then just fine, and the phone shows that it is a GB country variant (not US AT&T), and the OS version is the appropriate one for the GB CV.

    Any suggestions on how to resolve this, or should I just wait for Microsoft to find a way to push the update OTA to the Developer Preview adopters?

    NSRT reads the handset information based on IMEI and you cannot trick it by flashing a different firmware. It will only show as available the correct firmware version and variant according to the original product code. Since you have created a mismatch between product code and firmware currently on handset, the tool does not offer a software package for download and installation.

    Strange behaviour of this tool.

    With a Nohia 1520, device was not recognized by the tool.

    After a total reset the device was see, by software and reinitiakise the phone

    With a Nokia 920 I still have, same issue, but after reinit sa issue !!!

    Any Idea ?
