after trying all the suggestions it still ended up with error code 80073712
error just wont go away

Original title: recurring error on windows 8.1 update
i have been trying to update my current windows 8.1 to windows 8.1 update but run to so many errors namely 80246007 , 8024000B , 80073712 , 80070002 i tried doing the dism.exe thing from the command line but the error just keeps coming back also i followed this http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=42335 to isolate which KB is the error coming from (KB2919355)
i also tried manual install but the same error i am pretty much frustrated and there is the threat that if you don't update to windows 8.1 update you wont receive future patches ironically you can't install the update
any help will do

This error code can occur when an alternative installation source is specified and one of the following conditions is true:
The location that is specified by the path does not contain the files that are required to install the feature.
The user who tries to install the feature does not have at least READ access to the location and to the files.
The set of installation files is corrupted, incomplete, or invalid for the version of Windows that you are running.
Refresh the PC and check.

As per the screen shot you have sent, error code 0x80073712 issue is been fixed.
Run the System File Checker tool , restart the computer, try installing the Windows update and check.
Use the System File Checker tool to repair missing or corrupted system files.
