Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

Months and months go by and Microsoft simply ignores what its few users (in WP case) ask them to do.

I don't know what else we can do to get them to listen to us and fix this horrible decision once and for all. Oh, wait. Actually I know. I already decided to drop WP on my next purchase. If they fixed this and many other horrible bugs I'd reconsider tough. But seeing how they are handling this and other issues tells me I won't need to.

    That's really horrible...

Even the biggest horrible thing is when I open MyApps, the first thing is this what I get to see, "Apps not installed on this PC" rather than showing the installed apps.

Well, in fact...there is something even worse. For example, when your "Apps INSTALLED on this PC" list consist of a MIXED LIST of "INSTALLED" and  "NOT****INSTALLED"  apps (Press Left Control Key while you move the mouse wheel to enlarge the image and see the details):

I have found its not only a design floor but the store also has a bug associated to this design floor.  I have installed apps then uninstalled those same apps then I have tested other apps to see if they are any better than the first app I installed.

It it turns out the original app was the best app so I went back to the list of apps that windows forces you to keep only to find that the original app won't install again. ( well it says it's installed but it's nowhere to be found) then when I check in my store app account it says that same app is not installed. I've tried trouble shooting, I've tried refreshing, I've tried restoring computer... But still the original installed app will not show after installing.

The only solution was to create a whole new outlook account and abandon my previous windows account along with my previous computer settings...

So Microsoft!!!!! This is the only solution to this terrible functionality.. Users must Abandon old Microsoft account to start fresh!!!

Nice work!!! Such smart cookies for a billion $ enterprise!
