Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

Must say that this is a weird and stupid decision.

Anyway, why take from a user any decision?

Hide it if you want. Make it hard to find. But take it away?!

Geez, how hard would it be to add a HIDE option to make the apps you don't want to see and still maintain a balance that achieves the same result.

Apps I don't use remain invisible and the purchase history is maintained for that WHAT-IF scenario to keep the odd customer happy!

Silverback, I just recently stumbled onto to this post and along with everyone else Here I find Microsoft's decision not to let their users delete their own App download History quite ludicrous. Where do the users of this thread **** to Microsoft about this terrible design flaw if this is not the place to do that? I have loved Microsoft 8 ever since I got it but am quite flabbergasted to find out the Microsoft does not let their users delete their uninstalled/crappy/ never again used apps.
