how to delete the history of uninstalled apps in win 8 store

I have following this for a long time...almost a year and a half and this is one of the top 5

The sad thing is that because I cannot delete apps from "Your apps" in the Store, I find that I very rarely install apps. In other words, this actually slows my adoption of Modern apps.

Microsoft went to a lot of effort to make the install/execute/uninstall clean and safe for users to encourage us to install apps with confidence. This "no delete allowed" decision on their part seems to go against that "try it out, it won't hurt you" philosophy.

The first post in this thread was on Dec. 12, 2012, and users are STILL posting requests to get this "user experience", as you're so fond of parroting, fixed. That's, what, almost a year and a half? Are you people at Microsoft brain dead? My Lord, this Windows 8 "experience" has been a NIGHTMARE from day one, and you folks can't -- make that won't -- just fix this one stupid "feature" to make your users' "experience" just a little, teeny, weeny, bit better?

I've been a user of Windows 8 since beta, so I KNOW the thing was a piece of **** from the beginning. The whole idea of "one user experience on all your devices" -- or something like that -- was the most boneheaded idea put forth in the computer industry in history, anyhow.

Oh, sure, you're "backtracking" now, trying to salvage this monstrosity with updates and patches, but you STILL won't fix this one little aggravation for your users? BTW, since Windows 8 RTM (I'm a TechNet member -- and, thanks a lot for taking THAT away from us, too) I've had to do re-installs on both my desktop and my laptop computers THREE times because your updates and/or upgrades have hosed my systems beyond repair -- THREE TIMES! And do you know what? Your latest "backtrack", Windows 8.1 Update 1, has once again hosed both my laptop and desktop systems so that the Tablet/Phone ... uh, make that the "MODERN" half of my "one user experience on all my devices" -- or something like that -- is UNUSEABLE, (almost none of the apps will load) and, as usual, Microsoft's "fix" for breaking both my systems again is to do a system "Refresh" -- which actually means another clean install for both of my computers to REALLY get things right again, hopefully.

I guess I'll get myself up for that in a few weeks. I'm just too sick and tired of the whole mess to do it again right now. BTW, I've replaced both my desktop and laptop computers with new ones in the past few months, both with Windows 8 installs, which I upgraded to Windows 8.1 Pro with Media Center. (Thanks for taking THAT -- Media Center -- away from us, too, BTW.)

But, I digress. Just go ahead and send out a patch so your users can delete our old installs of the tablet/phone ... er, uh, MODERN apps in Windows 8.1 Update 1, please? You know you're going to have to do it sooner or later, (they can't keep building up forever) so, please, just do it NOW? Please?

I think I have understood what you mean...the first time.

But, I repeat: even if you keep your device (PC, laptop, etc.) working with your main e-mail address and you only change the email of the store and put a different one...It´s like if you were camouflaging the problem...because you know if you put again your original email in the store you will have, once again, all those apps.

What users of this thread want (me too) is to be able to remove PERMANENTLY the registry / history of already uninstalled apps.

The current situation makes no sense!!
