Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

Completely agree with everyone here ... why would ANYONE want a history of apps for items they installed for 10 mins just to find out that they were rubbish ... good one Microsoft! How about listing apps only if: People currently have them installed on their linked computers or People have paid for them EDIT: Also I found a few games that I quite lik,e and would buy if it wasn't for this; as I can see that I would never be able to find them again in my ever-growing list of ****! Kris

Agree if it is difficult to find the apps you uninstalled in the store it will be also difficult to find them in the cluttered "Your apps" section. if I'm allowed to arrange them I will keep the apps I may install later and it would be easy to find them I think nobody agrees with this horrible design. will it cost very much to change it??

dude you should again download the described app so that it is visible in apps than go to apps and uninstall it that's it.

you misunderstand. we do want to get rid of specific apps in the history of the appstore. uninstalling an app does not remove it from the history, so you invariably end up having a ton of useless and frankly extremely bad apps cluttering up your history.

that makes it a lot harder to find apps you actually would like to reinstall and frankly defeats the purpose of a history. if i have to dig out the gold nuggets from a pile of dirt in the history there is no advantage to just digging through the store itself anymore as the situation pretty much is the same then (tons of useless apps and the few good ones hidden in between).

for excample i have several pdf-reader in the app-history that are all but useless, about 5 youtube-apps, a bunch of videoplayers, all of which i will never ever want to reinstall as i finally found the tools i want to work with.
