Hi,

Thank you for posting your query on Microsoft Community Forums.

From your issue description , I understand that you need to delete the uninstalled App history from the Windows App Store.

Unfortunately its not possible to delete the uninstall App history in the windows 8 App store. Its designed like that .So in future if you want install any of these apps again in your computer you don’t to have search for that in the whole App Store. You can just select “My Apps” and from there you can install that once again very easily.

Hope this helps. Please get back to us if you have any other questions

@Bearwolf56,  I have not seen this as a problem, yet.  I suggest that you reinstall and then uninstall the Sports app to make sure that this is not due to a partial/failed uninstall.  If you have already done that, then this is definitely another issue that Microsoft will have to look into.  You may want to start your own question about this issue.

What really is frustrating is that since I'm unable to delete my history apps, I keep getting alerts to update apps that I've deleted. For example I "deleted"  the "Sports" app from my computer but it keeps showing up as needing to be updated. Why would I want or need to update an app I no longer want? As others have said it makes me very reluctant to download any app from the Microsoft store. It seems that Microsoft will be loosing business when more people find out that although they have deleted an app they no longer wants, isn't actually deleted. I can just imagine how in a few years the list of apps would be huge and actually fairly useless.

All Russians agree, apps must have option for PERMANENT REMOVAL.

Listen to Russians, they know what they talk about.

Take Syria and US bombing for chemical weapons example. Didnt Russia propose resolution that whole world including Syria liked ?

I tell you, we Russians know what we talk about. Please listen to us :)

This sucks. I want to permanently remove apps that i did not find any good.

I tried many apps and i dont like most of them, yet they are all in my history.

PLEASE give us option to remove them permanently including purchased apps..
