Kernel error 41

Hi, for about 9 months now I'm experiencing kernel 41 errors. I got them about once or twice a month, but this month they happened already 6 times. I have a VAIO notebok VPCF23C5E with a 500 GB SSD drive with Win7 Pro SP1 German. I constantly use my notebook between 10-12 hours a day and work a lot with Photoshop, InDesign and Visual Studio. When the system crashes I'm doing nothing special, just clicking somewhere. The crashes never appeared on high loads, like copying a terabyte hard drive or heavy work in Photoshop. Normally I'm just writing an email or clicking in a program. Once the system just turned off without a blue screen. The bugcheck codes vary:

0, 0x0000001A, 0x00000050, 0x000000D1,0x0000010D, 0x0000000A, 0x0000001E

I have no clue where to start searching. I run the sony hardware tests and they reported no error.

All Windows and Sony updates are installed. The only non-Sony driver I have installed is the NVIDIA graphics driver. I know I updated it before, but can't recall when. I think I tried it as a solution for the crashes. I updated the driver again about a week ago after the crashes became more, but the crashes still happen.

If I can't find a solution I have to get the computer to Sony repair to check the hardware soroughly. I might be HW, but it could also be a driver issue. I just have tons of timely work to do and really can't be without the computer for days. So if anybody has an idea or even better a process how to pinpoint the source of the crashes I would be very thankful.

    I did not notice that the Toshiba drive is a solid state drive. This does mean that you should not defragment the drive. However, with minimal free disk space you can find yourself running out of available free disk space, which may be needed to meet temporary demands from the system. This could lead to crashes, errors and file corruption.

    Android devices -my research earlier suggested HTC.

    You supplied the System log but not the Applications log.

    Hi Gerry,

    I uploaded the requested files to the same skydrive folder. I also cleanup the recovery points and got 10 GB of extra space. I need to wait until later to free more.

    as stated before I only have one SSD drive in my notebook. So defragmentation should be no problem. I know it is quite full at the moment. I'm working on out Rock That Swing Festival right now and produced a lot of big graphics and viedeo files. I will transfer a bigger part to an external drive tonight. I have and use treview. Since I'm travelling often I'm trying to keep most of my important data on my system to avoid to carry to many external drives with me.

    The P drive you have seen is an external Western Digital drive. I was accessing for pictures I needed for our festival. It is normally disconnected.

    I don't know what this is. I don't have any Android devices. I think I connected one this summer to transfer files from a friend that we needed for a project.

    Have you split your page file between two partitions? How large is the page file on C and how large is the other page file(s)?

    Drive C:

    NTFS file system

    Size 460,39 GB (494.337.871.872 bytes)

    Free space 18,44 GB (19.797.405.696 bytes)

    You need 15 to 20% free disk space. You need to remove 70gb of files from this partition. The drive will be badly fragmented and defragmenter cannot be run. To investigate disk space usage download and install Treesize (freeware).

    When you open Treesize select Scan from the Menu and you will see a list of drives. Click on C and it will generate a list of Folders.

    Post the names and the sizes of the 6 largest folders and the total at the top of the list.

    A similar situation to C but the impact does not bring the same consequences in terms of performance because it is not the system partition.

    Please download and run Driver View and upload a copy of the report it produces to your Sky Drive. To get a report on all drivers select Edit, Select All followed by File, Save Selected Items.
