Hi getting above message with device manager for this hardware TSSTcorp CD/DVDW TS-H653N ATA

Ive tried running the Microsoft trouble shooter but this doesn't help any ideas? Running Windows 8 thanks

Can you check the following registry key?:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}

At that registry key, in the right window, is there, under "Name", either an UpperFilters or LowerFilters value?

If so, for each of the UpperFilters and/or LowerFilters value, what is listed under "Data"?

    Hi Ashraful Huque Rabbi,

    Try removing theaswKbd entry which is from Avast.

    To remove the aswKbd double-click UpperFilters and, under Value data, remove aswKbd  > OK

    Create a System Restore point beforehand and restart the computer afterward

    For registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4d36e96b-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}" 'kbdclass aswKbd' is listed under data.

    & for registry key "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class{4d36e96f-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}" 'mouclass ' is listed under data.

    Thank you so much. I'd been trying a lot of different things, but removing the upper filter value did the trick.
