How can I retrieve/reinstall programs from "Removed Apps" List?

Initial problems with installing MS Windows 8  prompted me to refresh my PC, as a result, most programs ended up in a "Removed Apps" List of which I cannot determine on how to reinstall, can anybody help me???

Programs such as HP Support Assistant, and Cyber Link Power DVD, and Windows Media Player are disabled although the troubleshooter states that the Windows Media Player is working properly. Again, please help.

    From the description, it shows that you have refreshed the computer and most programs are in “Removed Apps”. I will help you to clarify the issue.

    I would like to know what do you mean by Windows Media Player is “disabled”.

    1)What exactly happens and do you get an error code/message?

    When you refresh the computer the apps that came with your PC or you installed from Windows Store will be reinstalled, but any apps you installed from other websites and DVDs will be removed. You'll find a list of the removed apps on your desktop after refreshing your PC.

    Thank you.  I've had to ask that question 3 different times. I didn't know whether it was necessary to reinstall any or all of them. And, also since when I did try to reinstall a few, they would not reinstall; either due to: out of date, no longer available for windows 10, etc.  I gave up after itunes refused to install. Apple does not apply to win. 10 anymore.

    The only other issue I'm having is that my admin. acct is not functioning properly. I can only perform on my microsoft account.

    Can I combine the 2 accts?

    Dear Microsoft,

    I had this same problem occur today with my computer.  I do see the page that lists the apps removed.  Now the question becomes, HOW CAN I RESTORE THESE APPS.

    The computer said I needed to refresh because of some update.  Next thing I know, I have lost my quickbooks program that I have been running on business on.  Everything is in there. And to top it off, this is the last day of the month on a holiday weekend.  I am not happy I need to get billings finalized, print statements, get payments entered.  I need it fixed ASAP!!!

    I had to have my PC restored by ASUS because it would not open.  That eliminated all my apps which are listed under Google Chrome on by desktop.  I need to re-install my Microsoft Office and Word as quickly as possible because I use them for work.  Help
