hmm, I hold down the Crtl key and use the mouse wheel to resize desktop icons.
How do you resize desktop icons in Windows 8?
The icons on my desktop changed to a smaller size. I do not know what cause them to change size. How do I change their size back to what it was?
I have been unable to find any directions on sizing desktop icons for Windows 8.

Hi
The Desktop in Windows 8 works the same way it did in previous versions.
Right click an empty space on the Desktop.
Select the View option.
You shouild see 3 options for changing to Small, Medium, or Large Icons.

2015-10-11T21:20:50+00:00 This happened to me when I dropped my mouse on the floor. I don't think that should be possible. It is too easy to do things you don't mean with the mouse, because you don't know all the possible things it can do. You should be able to disable everything except basic functions, and set it up so accidents don't do unimaginable things to your display or whatever. Too much functionality is almost as bad as no functionality, guys.

2015-08-31T06:06:18+00:00 This tip effects all icons not just one. So if they are not a size you like (small, medium or large) use the keyboard shortcut as explained in a different post here (Ctrl-mouse wheel). I don't know if it's possible to change a single icon in size in Windows 8 and up, there used to be some programs for this but that was for Windows XP.

2015-08-24T22:27:04+00:00 What if I only see small and medium, but want it large? (Internet Explorer is only small or medium).
