hmm, I hold down the Crtl key and use the mouse wheel to resize desktop icons.
How do you resize desktop icons in Windows 8?
The icons on my desktop changed to a smaller size. I do not know what cause them to change size. How do I change their size back to what it was?
I have been unable to find any directions on sizing desktop icons for Windows 8.

Hi
The Desktop in Windows 8 works the same way it did in previous versions.
Right click an empty space on the Desktop.
Select the View option.
You shouild see 3 options for changing to Small, Medium, or Large Icons.

2015-08-10T13:02:08+00:00 If anyone still cares, if you want to find out where this and many other great things are hidden, search for "help" in charms and choose 'help and support' search then in the help search type "keyboard shortcuts" and you can find a list of handy things like this tip. I imagine it's the same in Windows 10 except you don't need charms to get to the search box.
