Lumia 1020 Camera Won't Hold Focus

When using my 1020, I hold the shutter button halfway down to let it autofocus. It proceeds to do so briefly, but as I push the button, it loses focus and results in blurry photos. The manual focus does a little better. If I tap to focus, I can usually get the focus I want after 10 or so tries. This issue comes up at any focal distance.

Is the camera broken?

    My camera does not focus at all - auto or manual.  Is there a fix for this or do I need to return?

    I only got my phone on Friday and the camera has never focused at all. I am so disappointed with paying so much money and it not working. The camera works when you take a selfie but not when you are looking at the screen. I have followed all instructions and reset the camera as well. Not at all happy when the camera was the main reason for updating to this phone.

    Please help urgently.

    Any fix to this? So far - 3 months - My Lumia 1020 has been Amazing. Fantastic camera. But now for no obvious explanation the pro cam does not focus at all. It tries to focus but after you press the photo the whole image becomes unsharp. This makes the camera useless.

    the same issue comes with Nokia refocus program - all the individual photos are blurred and you cannot sharpen the image to any point of the image.

    Is this an hardware issue?

    Hello.

    Im from Poland.

    I have the same issue that u Guys.

    When the phone is could everythong is cool, but when the phone has gettong wormed the autofocus stops working - just stuck and everything os blurred. I phink is a software and hardware issue, becose the objective is stock and its not mooved when i do the manual focus. Then when i going to the manual focus and touching the screen - nothing - not working. When the phone is getting cooled then everything going to be fine.

    Please help, i dont now what i must doing.

    PS: I have Update every software in my lumia.

    PS: Sory for my English, is not perfect :P
