Lumia 1020 Camera Won't Hold Focus

When using my 1020, I hold the shutter button halfway down to let it autofocus. It proceeds to do so briefly, but as I push the button, it loses focus and results in blurry photos. The manual focus does a little better. If I tap to focus, I can usually get the focus I want after 10 or so tries. This issue comes up at any focal distance.

Is the camera broken?

Thanks.

I researched this and it's a hardware problem. The camera must be replaced. Sorry for the bad news! The good news is it's a quick and easy fix- you won't see any evidence that your phone has even been opened. No data loss etc.

Get your phone into a service center while it's still on warantee!

Has this been resolved? I'm having the same problem with my Nokia Lumia 1020. I can focus on images close to me, but when trying to get a whole image it blurs out the background - manual focus, infinity focus - nothing works...
