I think it has something to do with how the messages are passed along to Facebook... this happens only after I've been chatting via Facebook for Android/iOS and/or Facebook's website and then going back to Windows Messaging App

Lately, the messaging app in Windows 8 has been malfunctioning. When I send an outgoing message, the original message pops up at the bottom like normal, but it is quickly followed by a duplicate of the same message directly underneath it. What's going on?

It should be some sync process on Microsoft or Facebook side.
