Windows 7 - Blue screen problem - samsung all in one

I followed the instructions to view ghosted devices and i have taken a screenshot of the device manager after this. it is in the sky drive for reference.

I dont want to tempt faith but the good news so far is that i have not had a BSOD in the last hour or so since updating the firmware that you suggested. The problem now is getting the graphics driver updated.

You may remember that i uninstalled the graphics driver that was originally on the computer while troubleshooting the BSOD problem. I do not remember then name of that graphic driver but it had a resolution setting of 1600x1200.

If i do a complete system restore would that bring back the driver that i uninstalled? if so i could do a complete backup and then do a complete computer restore using the samsung recovery 5 solution (20th July 2012). If the firmware update you recommended was the cure  for the BSOD then i would just need to download that after i do the restore and i would have the original graphic driver back!

Do you think that would work?

Type Device Manager in the Search box above the Start button and press ENTER. Are there any yellow question marks in Device Manager? If yes what is the Device Error code. Are there any entries under Portable Device?

To see Hidden Devices (Non Plug and Play Drivers) you need to select View, Show Hidden Devices. It is necessary to do this every time you open Device Manager if you need to see them.

A further complication can be Ghosted Devices –installed but not connected!

I am not sure you need to update your graphics. 

With the current VGA graphics driver i can only go to a resolution of 1400x1050. To get a proper image display on the 23 inch monitor i need a resolution of 1600x1200.

I cant figure out why it wont install the updated driver you  recommended for this model on the samsung website.

I have now uploaded the 2 files and removed the older versions.

I am not sure you need to update your graphics.

Please upload and share with everyone copies of your System and Application logs from your Event Viewer to your Sky Drive and post a link here.

To access the System log select Start, Control Panel, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer, from the list in the left side of the window select Windows Logs and System. Place the cursor on System, select Action from the Menu and Save All Events as and give the file a name. Do the same for the Applications log.

Please remove redundant files from your Sky Drive so that it only contains current files.
