Well, I AM my help desk as this is my personal laptop. I'm not sure what I did to have this get set up somewhere, the only things I've ever messed with were the OEM Background picture when logging on and to disable the autorun features to prevent installation of malware from infected usb drives that I interact with on campus frequently giving me enough time to scan them before activating them.

I tried going back into the registry and setting the policy for autorun to be unconfigured again as it was default and it didn't fix the problem.

I get that error message when using various MS Office products, 2010 and 2013, when trying to go to an external link in a document/program or when trying to hyperlink within a document (e.g. Table of Contents --> Page 23...) But I know it isn't specifically office, or at least I think.

Thoughts on what I can do?

    Did you try to go into control panel and under programs and features, turn windows features on and off make sure that the internet explorer 11 box was checked.

    Jeg bruger Google til at oversætte mit budskab til dansk fra engelsk for dig. Gjorde jer prøve hen til foretage en undersøgelse af kontrol bedømmelseskomite og ind under planer og egenskaber, omdrejning Vinduer egenskaber oven på og ned af sikre at den indre undersøge 11 boks var kontrollerede.

    Jeg har sendt computeren tilbage til butikken. Derfor fandt jeg ikke ud af hvad der var galt.

    Der var en virus på computeren der gjorde, at jeg ikke kunne komme i kontakt med harddisken for at opdatere eller reparere.

    Jeg tror at det var det der gjorde at Outlook ikke fungerede korrekt og fik meldingen "firmaets politikker gør at vi ikke kan åbne dette emne". og som gjorde det umuligt at anvende Outlook.

    Jeg kan oplyse at Office blev installeret medens virussen var på computeren og det nok var der det gik galt.

    After a Windows 10 upload, I could not sign in. password not valid. Sent computer out to fix this problem, Microsoft did nothing to help. since then, outlook keeps sending the following message when I get   e-mail and try to open a part of the email without going through the browser "your organizations policies are preventing us from completing this action foryou"
