Two years later, and the link is still bad. Thanks, Microsoft.
Where is "Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool"?
All the instructions I receive tell me to go to the "Internet Connectivity Evaluation Tool", but when I click on the link, all it does is take me to forums and lists. Is there actually a "tool" that exists on this site, and if so, why doesn't clicking on the hyperlink take me there. I'm trying to figure out why my Wireless USB Adapter will not connect.

2013-03-07T20:43:53+00:00 Actually Chilli ,it was oh so very usable with Windows 7 to those that actually knew what it was for and for the ones that were using it to check their tweaking settings and previously for windows vista and xp Made specifficaly in mind for the ppl that tweak their internet settings to rid themselves of a system priority on the net with bandwidth promotion to and on others programs but is no longer needed since u get it with the one patch quick fix in download or was in a serverpack update not to sure but that fixes the issue and u can now in windows 7 manually change the setting with cmd ,regedit, few apps like leatrix\avg turner\any other interenet turner like eg SpeedConnect Internet Accelerator for changing the black hole and rwin vaules and some re-testing and seeing if the router could compute the data load transfer when setting the global ecncapability mode ,however now with new hardware adsl2+ compatibility the router\modem or that are if your lucky enough to have a 100mb -1gb line for speed for the internet the router should automatically be capatible since windows 7\8 did release a fix to resolve this issue for gamers lag issue to servers reducing time sent and recieved for international pc to pc or pc - server pinging u should just do a freash reinstall update windows and u wont even need the other software or tools it will all be sorted, strickly speaking though since the module would effect 2\15-20 out of 100 users by slowing down browser speeds or stoping connections to certain websites if not completely killing the interent connection ,windows removed it and made that patch, just update your systems and have the latest hardware and you shouldnt need it at all , but yeah love the sarcasm atleast it not hate replies some people expect ms to answer all their complaints on a user forum and lashout at anyone they can, since ms hardly if ever tells anyone what their doing was kindy shocked to see the tool removed but total got why they did, they just could have had the decency to make a page saying This tool was scrap not linked to another site page increasing one's rage to a frustration! P.S excuse all compressed words when they were used

2013-02-03T22:06:50+00:00 It's remarkable how often someone asks a simple question and gets nothing but dancing around the question and no direct answer.
Let's try one more time just for the sake of completion: where is "Internet Connectivity Tool"? Does it still exist - yes or no?
Please and Thank You!
