WIFI connection shows Limited Access windows 8

I use windows 8 enterprise evaluation.i can use wife network but it show access limited often.i disconnect wifi and reconnect it solve.i feel disgust....

HP pavilion G6-1262er ....broadcom 4313gn 802.11b/g/n 1x1 wifi adapter

security type:WPA2-PSK

i update device it couldnt solve.uninstall and install device couldnt.

Please answer my question.what must i do??? :)

I had the same problem of my wifi showing limited everytime I connect. After searching in internet for 2 hours and trying various options like netsh reset, disable\enable, network discovery on, power saver change mode, tcip reset, ip config manual, metered download enable etc. nothing worked!

But then I thought to reinstall my WLAN driver. In my case, my lenovo laptop had drivers in the path D:\drivers\WLAN. I launched the setup and reinstalled and hurrah I am able to connect without any problem now!!!

I would recommend you to follow these steps and check if it helps.

Does this issue occur while connecting it through a wired network?

Method 1

Run Network troubleshooter.

a. Press “windows Key + W”. from the start screen

b. Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and hit enter.

c. Select “Network and Internet” option

d. First select “Internet connections” troubleshooter.

e. Follow the on-screen instructions.

f. Then select “Network Adapter” troubleshooter and then follow the on-screen instructions.

Method 2

I would suggest you to try the steps from the link given below:

Method 3:

Try resetting  TCP/IP.

Reset TCPIP and check  if it works.

Follow the steps

a) Boot to the desktop view.

b) Open command prompt, right click in the left corner when the Start window appear and select command prompt (admin).

c) At the command prompt, copy and paste (or type) the following command and then press ENTER:

netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt

Note: If you do not want to specify a directory path for the log file, use the following command:

netsh int ip reset resetlog.txt

d) Reboot the computer.

    Come on Microsoft I have the same problem with my Wife limited connection,  I tried every thing nothing work. I can use my laptop at out my home but when I get home It doesn't work. I did restart for my router and I got internet for one hr then I lost it. Can you help me Microsoft? It been more than 5 days with this issue.

    If you leave a network and come back to another, you may have to do a flush of the dns cache as follows:

    Open the command prompt. The command to flush DNS needs to be entered in the command prompt. Accessing the command prompt is slightly different depending on which version of Windows you are running:

    • Windows 8 - Press the Windows key + X and select “Command Prompt (Administrator)”.
    • Windows 7/Vista - Click the Start menu and enter “cmd” into the Search field. Right click on Command Prompt and select “Run As Administrator”.
    • Windows XP - Click on the Start menu and then click Run. Enter “cmd” into the Run field and press Enter.

    Type ipconfig /flushdns and press Enter. A message will appear stating “Windows IP configuration successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache”.

    Close the command prompt box.

    Try again to connect to a web site.

    This all assumes that you are using dhcp for ip assignments, not static ip's. There  are very few instances that a computer connecting through a home router would ever have to be connected with static ip's.

    I have tried this one also. But no result. as of now I have tried as many as solutions provided but no change... Some One help me.

    I hope Microsoft rectifies this problem.

    dose it work out side, I mean at your work, coffee shop or no ?

    if yes, the problem would be from your router, some routers software need to be update to work with windows 8 I've been crazy for 5 days till I found out the problem from my router.

    try other network and see what happen ?
