Nokia Belle Refresh update just launched

Hi all,

great news! We just started to roll out our next update for Symbian called Nokia Belle Refresh for Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia C7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia X7 and Nokia Oro with version number 111.040.1511 (Nokia E6, version number 111.140.0058, will follow still this week, Nokia 500 updates will follow shortly).

This update again brings new features to Symbian smartphones, for example:

-          a new browser with HTML5 web apps support, a new set of homescreen widgets, and the previously released Microsoft Office Mobile App and Nokia Maps Suite 2.0 in one package.

-          Nokia N8 will have some extra apps for imaging

The update will be rolled out in phases, starting with the vanilla versions (ie. basic software variants without any specific operator or country configuration). Country and operator variants will follow within the next weeks, depending on local and operator approvals.

pS: Just like after updating from Nokia Anna to Nokia Belle, some apps may not work due to compatibility issues. If you need more information on available apps, please contact your local Nokia Care support. Furthermore, you can also contact the respective App developer to enquire about the compatibility.

    I hope that this fix the huge design fault of the Belle on the E6. Belle was design for a larger screen... I miss Anna so much... But I have a solution! In fact, many Android solutions!!!!

    Just want to post one translation bug which is present since Belle and even in this Belle Refresh Update:

    When you change your phone language to German, the whole applications in the menu are named in German, but not the music player!

    For example, messages becomes „Mitteilungen”, but Music player becomes „Music player”, it should be „Musik-Player”.

    In Belle FP1 (on Nokia 700, 701) this was corrected, why not in Belle Refresh?

    Second thing is that many users still having troubles with WiFi when they use a WPA2 encryption. Then,

    Why no qt 4.8 menu?!!

    I don't think it needs better hardware...many apps uses qt 4.8 menu like Nokia Battery Monitor which runs normally.

    Thanks for the update but I didn't like it.

    No dolby digital sound round,

    No pause option for music in notification

    No mkv fix

    Very Little  fix for flash(.flv)

    No OverClocking

    Album list doesn't gather all songs in one place of an album if there are different artists

    I don't get what's so refreshing about this update..

    My C6-01 is a far better hardware than its OS.
